Maryland Club Women's Locker Room

The Maryland Club is located in Baltimore City’s Mt. Vernon neighborhood. In 2019, J C Porter teamed up with DACG to do a major renovation to preserve the nineteenth-century structure that included a combination of new construction and renovation to the existing historic building. In 2023, J C Porter was invited back to complete the construction of the brand new women’s locker room. This 1,225 square foot project included custom white oak lockers, lounge, marble showers, sauna and steam room. J C Porter worked with SM+P Architects to incorporate tranquil design concepts into the space by using natural material and restful hues to help create a peaceful oasis.
