Rise

Green Thumb Industries (GTI), a national cannabis cultivator, based in Illinois, operates dispensaries throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, Nevada and Massachusetts. They also cultivate and process medical cannabis. J C Porter Construction has completed two RISE build outs for GTI named RISE Joppa and RISE Abingdon. Both locations opened in 2018. RISE Joppa was the first medical marijuana dispensary to open in Harford County. The dispensary's patient service areas resemble a coffee bar, where patients can sit at glass cases and see the various types of cannabis-based products and discuss their options with dispensary employees.
